De Player is a soundgallery/performance-stage with a strong preference for the experiment. Besides hosting (international) artists who have their roots in the ‘popular’ (experimental, electronic) music, they also programmed both classical and contemporary composed music, the so called Player’s Classico’s. As an experimental stage they think it is nessecary and essential to think of new ways of programming and presenting contemporary music. To develop a space where new work can take shape, instead of just focussing on executing concerts. Besides that, they just like to listen to music in our own way and create our own context.

BIGMAG. is a magazine containing a 12” vinyl picture-disc and printwork. It is supposed to be a blueprint as an axtension of the fysical body of club DE PLAYER / DSPS. It is a magazine with many original contributions of writers, musicians, artists and others who were on stage or will be on stage at DE PLAYER / DSPS. All the issues are in English and for the international market. There will be 4 issues in 2007. Every issue will be presented in combination with live-acts. These presentations will be multi headed mutantic situations with live-acts, film, readings and curiosa.
